When you first get your ODS Aligners, they scan your teeth to create a customised treatment plan. Once your aligners are ready, you'll be able to pick them up and start wearing them.
You'll need to wear your ODS Aligners for at least 22 hours each day for them to be effective. You can remove them for eating and brushing your teeth, but be sure to put them back in as soon as possible. The process usually takes around 6-8 months, but this will vary depending on the case.
At ODS, we follow a carefully monitored procedure to identify and find solutions for your orthodontic needs. We follow these steps to make sure that your treatment plan is holistic.
We use state-of-the-art technology to take images and digital impressions of teeth.
These scans are then sent for treatment designing and make final changes as per the instructions received from your treating dentist.

When you have a crossbite, the upper and lower mandible don't match up perfectly, and a few of the higher teeth are trapped between the lower teeth. It can cause the teeth to deteriorate (or perhaps even fracture) and the jaws to expand, resulting in severe gum infections. ODS aligners can fix this problem completely.
The term "gap teeth" refers to the additional space between most of the teeth. These can cause food to become lodged in crevices, causing the gums to become painful and uncomfortable. ODS Align can narrow the gap between the teeth, making a significant improvement in your everyday dental hygiene standards.
In mild cases, gap teeth can fill in on their own. In more moderate cases, they need aligners to get straightened out. In very severe cases, they can lead to permanent tooth extraction and gum decay.
You can have an "open bite" if the teeth at the top and bottom do not connect. In mild cases, ince the teeth are not aligned correctly, it can be difficult to chew basic foods like fruits.
In moderate cases, an open bite can be fixed by using ODS aligners, so that eating and chewing can become easy. In severe cases, this could cause periodontal problems.
There may not always be sufficient space in the mouth for many of the teeth to fit. In mild and moderate levels, teeth might curl up, interlock, and bend as a result, making brushing and flossing difficult. However, if this continues, the problem can become severe and lead to calcification, which can lead to gingivitis and periodontitis. ODS Align can help in correcting this issue.
A form of malocclusion where the upper front teeth cross over the lower front teeth, is known as deep bite or overbite. This is mostly a result of the lower jaw being shorter than the upper jaw, which leads to a misalignment. Custom-made aligners can be used to correct this condition.
A very important part of maintaining dental hygiene is aftercare. While it is true that ODS aligners are much more convenient than braces, the following must be noted:
Do not try to soften the aligners by placing them in hot water. This could permanently damage the trays
To avoid microbial build-up and discoloration, clean the teeth after each meal or beverage even before placing on any aligners.
Use toothpaste to clean the aligners gently by carefully holding them in your palm
It is advisable to not consume very hot beverages while wearing the aligners, since these can stain the aligners or distort them
Aligners at ODS are made according to every patient’s specific treatment goals. This could be complete correction or just a single tooth correction instead of complete correction. This is highly personalised and cannot be replicated exactly in every patient. Diagnosis and treatment will be different for everyone and will be dependent on many other factors such as health conditions, age, dietary behaviours, and so on.
We strive to give you the best care and treatment using world-class technology.
